Rehardening Water Filter
The fresh water on board is from two sources; ashore supply and on-board fresh water generating units. The fresh water generated by evaporators is not healthy for people to drink over a long period of time due to its lack of needed minerals. Rehardening water filters are used to further filtrate the water, add minerals and fine tune the PH value of the water to make it better for drinking.
