Plated Type Fresh Water Generator
The waste heat of the cooling water in the cylinders of the main engine is utilized to heat seawater, which is then vaporized under certain temperature and vacuum condition. The vapor, after being condensed, becomes fresh water that can supplement the need on board of operational ships. The heat exchangers are consisted of titanium plates, which feature high durability and low maintenance cost.
